We're a great healthy school canteen!

Recently, the NSW School Canteen Menu Check Service came to our school to assess our canteen menu against the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy Food and Drink Criteria.

Our school was successful in meeting the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy and was acknowledged for our contribution to supporting the health and wellbeing of our students.

The NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy is a key initiative to support the Premier’s Priority to tackle childhood obesity. Having a healthy canteen means that students are more likely to develop healthy eating habits that will have a long-term impact on improving their lives.

To recognise our achievement, we have been awarded the Healthy School Canteen Badge and Certificate which will be on display at our canteen and on our school website. We have also had our school’s name added to the Premier’s Priorities website to celebrate our success.
