As part of our Book Week activities, we would like to share our love of reading and help others to learn to read too by hosting The Great Book Swap on Tuesday 23 August. The Great Book Swap aims to support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
For our Great Book Swap, we are asking families to donate any used and pre-loved (second-hand) children’s picture books and novels that you own by Friday, 19 August. We encourage K-6 students to bring in their second-hand books to the front office. Please make sure any donated, second-hand books are in good condition, free of any rips, stains or other damage.
Students will be able to choose second-hand books for a gold coin donation on Tuesday 23 August. All money raised will go to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. To learn more about The Great Book Swap and the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, please visit: https://edu.greatbookswap.org.au/.
Families are also welcome to make a direct donation to the fundraiser by visiting our The Great Book Swap donation page here: Donate Now. Here you will also be able to see how much money we've raised for this great cause!
